Groms Dominate NSSA West Coast Regionals
Last weekend one of the biggest events of the year in amateur surfing took place: the NSSA Western Conference Regional Championships, the lead up to the National Championship event. Rusty Surfboards sister/brother grom duo, the McCaffrays, attended the event and dominated. Ella won the Explorer Women's and Explorer Girls divisions and placed 3rd in the Open Girls division while younger brother Cole won the Menehune division. Both groms were riding their favorite model: the Enough Said, with Ella’s being in the Torsion Spring construction. Congrats to these shredders and good luck at Nationals!
The Enough Said is a thumb tail performance shortboard that features a fairly relaxed proven nose rocker and a heavy single concave in the back half of the board. The tail rocker is slightly lower to accommodate the heavy concave. There is slightly less volume under the chest to minimize the swing weight. This board is designed to react quickly in the pocket when you need it most. Learn more HERE.
