Urchin Wake Surfboard Voted Best of 2019 by Alliance Wake

Posted by Staff on

SAN DIEGO, California - We're stoked to announce that our newest wake surfboard model, the Urchin, was just voted as the best board this year by Alliance Wakesurf.

The Urchin is a twin fin wakesurf with a speed-generating venturi bottom. The aggressive rails and hard wings gives this board plenty of pop above the lip. The Urchin combines the easy ride of a twin fin fish with the responsive double concave bottom in a high performance surf style shape.

After reviewing the Urchin alongside some of the other top wake surfboard manufacturers on the market the Urchin was picked as the best. Former team riders Josh Kerr and Ella McCaffray were among those who reviewed the board and loved it. "It's a really fun board rail to rail. It stayed in the wave excellent and had a lot of speed and drive. It's probably the fastest board for sure," said Alliance Wakesurf Editor and Creative Director Seve Reiley.
