This is the high-performance shortboard that eats mediocre waves for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It packs about as much volume as possible into the shortboard outline, with a couple unique tweaks that keep it lively. It's the chine in the rail near the forward fins and the accentuated "V" through the tail that really keep this board ahead of the pack. Ride it three to five inches smaller than your regular shortboard, and in anything knee to head high.
Turnaround time on boards is going to range anywhere from 2-4 weeks once we start shaping depending on the construction of the board. Estimated turnaround times are as follows:

Once it gets going it really moves. It has a lot of volume for a shorter board 6'2," it turns well, and it never slid out on overhead waves. I use medium Jordy fins on it and weigh around 180 Lbs. The one I have is a Surftech with carbon tape at the tail, and as of yet, the deck has not dented, and there are no pressure dings, despite the powerful La Jolla area Winter waves.
The dozer is a great short board. has a lot of volume but turns just like any other high performance board. i’m a younger surfer, i weigh about 140 pounds and i’m about 6 feet tall. i have the 5’8”, and it has plenty of volume to keep me in the wave on small mushy days, but rides with a lot of speed on bigger days. easy to do simple maneuvers and rides great.
I’ve had a dozer for a couple years now, and it’s normally my top pick before i paddle out. it’s good in small mushy waves, but works well with head height waves. it holds a lot of volume, but still feels and rides like a high performance board. easy to gain speed and pretty good in turns. The dozer is a great design!!
I ordered a custom 6'2" about 2 years ago in Epoxy construction. Still looks new. The deck is holding up great and I weigh about 205 lbs. at 6' 3" tall. I live on the east coast, SC. and have surfed it on choppy waist high mush and in punchy overhead hurricane swell. And I'm here to tell you that it works for me in nearly all conditions. Paddles great... turns on a dime and holds when you need it while coming off the lip on a close out. I use the AM2 Futures fins on mine. Rusty should always have this model in their line-up. I've had 3 of them so far and they are built to last.
