The Moby is a great longboard alternative. Designed for cruising and relaxed surfing, this model is a great paddler and glider in small, soft surf. A great choice for beginners, the Moby is like a giant fish with a touch of tail rocker and vee added to loosen it up. Its rails are full, low, and firm for plenty of lift and skate out of the gate. Whether you are a beginner or just looking for a change-of-pace surfboard, the Moby Fish simply oozes fun.

Team R. - Thank you so much for the custom surfcraft! It rides beyond what i hoped for. I had Oldmans to myself today and was like a kid in a candy store. It even works as a twin fin. You guys are the top of the industry! Surfing has been my passion for 50 years. As an aero-engineer i obsess over quality and details. Quality is always hit or miss in this industry, but Rusty has proven to be a sure thing. Even the color work is crisp, evenly opaque, and perfect. It can only be a labour of love to maintain this level of quality. Proud to ride the Rusty’s.
I'm a 40 year-old 6'3" 190lb. advanced beginner/intermediate surfer who started a bit later in life. My first board was a 9'3" Takayama In the Pink, which is a great, stable log for a beginner (and a great noserider for better longboarders). I was looking for a solid transition board that would allow me to shave like a foot and a half of length off without sacrificing too much volume/stability or paddle power. Royce helped me narrow down some finalists to this board and it was a great choice. The MF paddles like a longboard but offers more versatility and a lot more responsiveness with the 2+2 set up. It's a really stable, smooth ride but much more agile than a longboard. It took a few frustrating sessions to figure out where the sweet spot was in terms of positioning, but now that we've got to know one another, I'm absolutely loving it. Huge THANK YOU to the whole Rusty crew; customer service is atmospheres better than other shapers my buddies have ordered customs through. Thanks so much for all the hard work and assistance, guys - I'll definitely be back.
The board has been great for me particularly in the less than stellar winter we have had. It has wonderful combination of paddle power with surfability once I am up and running. Rusty, you are truly amazing in your ability to tune a board and Clint thanks again for your insight and helping narrow my search of different Rusty boards before I got to the point of talking to Rusty.
Primarily a long boarder. Use the Moby in choppy surf when the nose of your long board would slap the water as you paddle. Also in bigger cleaner surf. Very stable, paddles well, easy to catch waves on. Much more maneuverable in the 4 fin configuration and has more flow. Once I tried the 4 fin configuration never went back to 3. Permanent part of the quiver.
