Model 8

Warranty Information

For the Model 8 we added more rocker coming from the Sista Brotha which translates into quicker and shorter arc turns. The deck is flatter, creating more natural flex, paddling power yet making the board more sensitive.

A bit fuller nose helps transitioning through flatter spots and dead sections but not compromising the lip attack. The board is fast, loose and surfs a great variety of conditions from punchy beach breaks to long points.

  1. Perfect compromise between performance and user friendly

Posted by on Apr 9th 2019

Bought the Model 8 off the rack in Europe (there is a factory in Portugal making Rusty boards) and was so happy with it that I ended up getting another one online. So yeah considering I have 2 of them you can imagine I like the Model 8. It paddles great and works in punchy French/Mexican beach breaks just as much as on your regular California point. Being the average intermediate surfer I really enjoy how forgiving the board but without sacrificing speed or performance in general. Ordering from the website was a first for me, but not a last. The team followed up via email and phone calls to make sure they'd build a board that would work for me. Rusty made some adjustment to the stock dims according to my age/weight/level, suffice to say he nailed it. Oh and yeah ion case you're wondering he did sign it, how cool is that?
    I got a PU build, my dims ended up being 6'3 32.9L /19.35"/2.45" I'm 6'1/178 (1m84/79Kg).

  2. Speed and control

Amazing board! Tons of speed with a lot of drive and control. At same time It's responsive and goes vertical in the pocket. Best board I've ever had! I got mine in Torsion Spring tech and
It's great! It works in windy days and bumpy Waves without any chattering. I have used in different beach breaks in Brazil and I really recomend.

  3. Model 8

This board is an all around ripper. I can't believe there isn't more hype about it. This has to be one of the best all arounders on the market. Mine is made of the torsion spring technology and its so damn lively. Surf's fast and vertical.

  4. Fast and responsive

Only writing a review because there was none when I bought this board. Im 6'1 and 70 kgs and bought the 5'11, it goes like an absolute dream. Rode it today for the first time in 2-3ft aussie east coast beachie like waves and it held its line, went well in the barrel and is definately the quickest board iv ever riden. Id say this board could hold its own in big surf and at the same time is whippy enough for some big airs and turns.
